Candace came to us from Troy with the nickname PITA, or "pain in the ass."
"But she seems like such a sweetheart," we naively told Troy upon placing her with the rest of our ruminants. Flash forward two months and she's everywhere you want to be. At that point Troy explained that her nickname was because she loved people so much that she was always hanging out, getting in the way.
Well, we love her anyway. She was our first Tunis sheep and our first shearing expedition as well as our first bred sheep. She hit a lot of firsts for us and has been great about the whole thing. Now if only we could convince her that Dennis is not the cat's meow.
