Fence woes

We woke up yesterday to our 93 year old neighbor informing us that a whole bunch of our critters were down on her property. With flashes of last year and our sheep eating out of her garden, we dashed out the door, not even pausing to give Jane breakfast, to go hunt down our animals.

What did we see?

All our ruminants hanging out in our garden. Thankfully there's nothing far enough up yet for them to be interested in them. But they did stomp down some of the arugala bed pretty well. So we corralled them in a drizzly rain back to the pasture we set up, but failed to secure a few days before.

Now the pasture is closed on all sides, one with an electric netting that will certainly give Dennis pause before he tries to push through. So here's hoping it holds.

I feel like a broken record, telling people that fencing is an art more than a science, but the truth never gets old to me.
